Day 161: Cultural Collision

Nina Paley does great work, and has for years. Nina's Adventures, Fluff, and most recently Sita Sings the Blues are all terrific. I link directly to Sita because you really want to see this movie, and learn its history. Really really.

But science? Who knew? You do, now! Go look.

Nina's original work is going to be shown at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. She'll appear at a Sita screening on July 20th while I'm in San Diego. Oh well, I saw her at the San Francisco International Animation Festival a few years ago.

Best,

Steven
