Sean Bieri and I just finished the first Better Zombies Through Physics story, and with the Blessings of Tor (sounds like something Rick Moranis might have said in Ghostbusters, but it's much better than that) we are sending Erwin and Co. out into the wild via a Creative Commons "Attribution-Share Alike" license. You can read more about it over at Tor.com. Here's hoping
Yay. Jim's got a blog. sweet. Oh, and HOW would I have known about this blog if Parker hadn't let the world know you'd sparked it? *Sheesh*
Hmmm... Schroedinger's chimpanzees? Schroedinger's pizza? (You don't know if there will be anchovies on the pizza until you open the box. How do you tip the delivery guy without opening the box?) Schroedinger's Superman? (The radioactive element is Kryptonite, the cat is Speedy.) Schroedinger's Schroedinger... how do you know if he is dead without opening the casket?
And if you place that box inside a rocket and it's traveling at a fraction of the Speed of Light, how does the cat know if it's dead or not? And will its twin back on Earth die at the same rate?
And can the cat, by observing the experiment, use Shroedinger's equation to prevent its early demise?
Oh, and how does Schroedinger's equation relate to the reading of a comic?
